Alida Saxon is a Canadian artist trained in Toronto, Ontario, graduating in 1991. She currently resides in Springfield, Massachusetts, USA and maintains a studio in the Indian Orchard Mills in Indian Orchard Massachusetts. Trained in a wide variety of media from sculpture to painting, she continues to experiment known and emerging media and techniques. She has a special interest in - and is best known for- her works in graphite and colored pencil, and expresses a fondness for science fiction, fantasy, mythology and world costume, through her choice of subjects.
